A highly acclaimed music program provides students with opportunities to enhance their artistic abilities through, band, jazz band, choir and orchestra. In addition, Willis has diverse elective offerings and competes in the East Valley Conference – providing a wide variety of sports over four quarters. Arizona law enables taxpayers a tax credit contribution of up to $200 or $400 per calendar year for contributions that fund extracurricular activities in public schools.

Willis Junior High is proud to have been serving our Chandler community for 40 years! We take a great deal of pride in identifying individual student needs and fostering academic, social, and emotional growth. We offer great hours with a schedule that follows the Humble ISD calendar, along with full year employment. The district and the Boys & Girls Club have joined forces to provide Weslaco students with an environment conductive to learning.

The mission of the District is to prepare its students to deal with the present and the future in three areas. In achieving these objectives, the faculty and staff are accountable for providing quality and equitable instruction. We feel that these objectives will prepare our students for a lifetime of learning. With input from more than 100 stakeholders, CUSD identified six attributes essential to student success beyond graduation that our students will build as they move and grow through our schools and district. What's Happening Around Willis

WISD is made up of 20 schools, 11 elementary campuses, four middle schools, and four high schools. All of our campuses are equipped with all the learning tools necessary for our students to have a rich and high-quality learning school year. With many extracurricular activities to choose from, our students get to experience a “complete” education. The Superintendent and School Board work together as a ‘team of eight’ to ensure the school district runs efficiently and effectively.
